Professor Wayne Logan’s book, Knowledge as Power: Criminal Registration and Community Notification Laws in America (Stanford University Press 2009), was cited in the U.S. Supreme Court’s June 2013 opinion in United States v. Kebodeaux to show precedent of criminal registration laws.
Professor Hannah Wiseman has co-authored a national report released in June 2013 that explores state regulation of shale gas development. The report, The State of State Shale Gas Regulation, describes, analyzes, and compares 25 regulatory elements related to shale gas development across 31 states.
