Please review the copy of the Administrative Order dated December 19, 2011 closing down the mandatory RMFM program in Florida: ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2011-03. Consistent with this Order, the Tallahassee Bar Association will be terminating its RMFM Program operations in the Second Judicial Circuit by March 30, 2012. Please take notice of and observe the following:
- The TBA RMFM Program will be closed down completely by March 30th, 2012. Any invoices from mediators or inquiries of any nature from any parties or entities should be submitted to the program well prior to that time, so that they can be paid and/or addressed before March 30th, 2012. There will be no program staff after that date to respond to inquiries or process any payments.
- We will not be scheduling any 1st mediations to be conducted from our courthouse facilities after March 16th, 2012. Any mediations that must be re scheduled, adjourned, re mediated, et cetera should be set, as soon as possible, so as to be completed by March 28th, 2012. We will not be able to provide any facilities thereafter; if absolutely necessary to conduct further mediation after this time frame (please try not to!); mediators may choose to conduct it at their private offices, and the mediator will be responsible for reporting outcomes as per any other private mediation (and not through the RMFM program offices) and any invoice for the mediators service must be submitted as noted above, to be received and paid by March 30th.
- We do not know for how much longer anyone will have access to the online platform for the various RMFMP documents. All participants of the RMFM Program are urged to access and download any information they may think they want from the platform, immediately.
