Ervin Kitchen & Ervin Tom Ervin’s Umatilla Cabin Chili, Nothing But a Winner – People’s Choice

Best Boots went to Adeline Kitchen, granddaughter of Deeno Kitchen; second runner up was Barbara Wallis

We had a great turn out from the Florida Bar Board of Govenors with a special thank you to the BOG member Jake Schicknel for the desserts!

December 1, 2009 Annual Tallahassee Bar Association Holiday Party
Over 80 Tallahassee Bar Association members and their guests enjoyed great conversation and delicious food at Rodizio’s South American Steakhouse during the annual Tallahassee Bar Association Holiday Party.

Special thanks to Kathy Maus for coordinating this event with Rodizio’s, to Elmer Ignacio for helping meet and greet at the registration table, to Nathan Skop for securing the massage gift certificate door prize and to Karla Ellis for providing materials on the National Military Family Association.

The November 3, 2009 TBA meeting; “In the Mix with Tallahassee Business Leaders” took place at the new upscale venue, “Level 8 at Hotel Duval.” The event provided an invaluable gathering of Tallahassee professionals from the legal, financial, and real estate fields.

The October 6, 2009 TBA meeting featured guest speakers The Florida Bar President Jesse Diner, The Florida Bar Foundation President Adele Stone, and The Honorable William Van Nortwick.  All three focused their messages on the importance of pro bono and the necessity of providing pro bono service to the less fortunate of our community.
