Tallahassee Bar

Thank you for your interest in the Tallahassee Bar Association. The TBA is over 700 members strong and is represented by attorneys, judges, FSU Law Students, and state and local government agencies. Our mission is to provide a means for the members of our association to establish a network of support and fellowship, as well as to provide a source of continuing legal education.

The TBA also offers a Lawyer Referral Service (LRS). Once a member of this service, we can refer your name in the area of your expertise when responding to the over 500 calls that we get each month asking for an attorney. Since 1992, the LRS has generated over 3.9 million dollars in fees for our member attorneys.

One of our membership requirements is a contribution to one of the board-approved service agencies of your choice that provides pro bono legal services to our community. This TBA requirement also provides an avenue for you to meet the Supreme Court Aspirational Goal of providing pro bono services.
